In 1994 Jane Iredale was the first company to create a mineral makeup line that offered skin benefits. The brand strives for healthy effective products using natural and organic ingredients. While not completely pure, they are a much better alternative to conventional brands and a highly respected brand in the green beauty community.

GreatShape Eyebrow Kit
The Eyebrow Kit comes in a glamorous compact case that consists of an eyebrow wax and powder. First I apply the wax which keeps the powder in place and eyebrow hairs groomed. Then I apply the powder which gives my brows a truly natural look and added depth. I used to use the eyebrow kit by Benefit and this one by Jane Iredale is a great replacement. The Jane Iredale kit comes in 2 shades, brunette or blonde.

PureBrow Brow Gel
I had been looking to try a natural brow gel for some time now and was able to test drive this popular product. I found the darkest shade Brunette a tad warm for my eyebrows but if your brows aren’t black it should be fine. Instead of using the whole spool I found I was able to apply more precisely using just the tip and gently sweeping across my eyebrow hairs to give it more 3-D volume. If I used the entire spool and the product would get on the skin underneath the brows I found that it would give me a super dark look that didn’t look natural. This gel comes in 3 shades: brunette, auburn & blonde.

PureLash Lash Extender & Conditioner
This will change your eyelash and mascara game. The lash conditioner & extender strenghens & thickens lashes and amplifies the effect of your mascara. I like that this not only makes my lashes look thicker with mascara but that it’s also serving as a protective barrier from the mascara if that makes any sense. It’s like a primer to your mascara. I have super sparse and thin lashes so I need all the help I can get. It would be great if they created a mascara that was double ended with the conditioner on one end and the mascara on the other as Maybelline does.

Longest Lash Thickening and Lengthening
The name of this mascara instantly drew me to it since it included both thickening & lenghtening but it worked just ok. I don’t know whether it was the formula or if my lashes are just too thin for the super fluffy large brush. My lashes would not really pick up enough of the mascara product and I would need to use the tip where there was a lot of product to apply. I may have to wait for the formula to actually dry out a bit more so it’s more buildable.
