Update Dec 2024: PYT Beauty has closed down. Clean and affordable makeup brand PYT Beauty is widely sold at ULTA & Amazon and has become widely popular for a relatively newcomer brand. Sustainability is a major concern for the brand and the recycled materials used for each part of their packaging is labeled. All PYT products except their eyeshadow palettes are $20 and under. Note that PYT does use synthetics and phenoxyethanol in their formulas and are not 100% natural. Check out my thoughts on the PYT makeup products I’ve tried.

PYT Brow Pencil

The PYT Brow Goals Pencil is my favorite product from all the PYT makeup I’ve tried. It comes in five colors and I find their taupe works  for the look I want with my brows. It has a unique shape for precision application and has a brush spoolie on the other end, which isn’t totally necessary for me but welcome.

Ingredients: Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Tribehenin, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide.

PYT Tinted Lip Balm

The PYT tinted lip balm is a vegan formula with hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, and olive fruit oil. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of this lip balm. The consistency is on the drier end so it doesn’t feel all that moisturizing for my lips. It has a bit of a waxy feel to it that normally does come with budget tinted lip balms, but it was a little too waxy for my liking.

Ingredients: Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Silica, Synthetic Wax, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Tocopherol, Trihydroxystearin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Natural Flavor, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Glucomannan. PYT Swipe Right Mascara

I also used the PYT mascara though I couldn’t find it when taking these group product shots. This was an average clean mascara for me, being neither a hit nor a total miss. At this $20 price point, I haven’t found anything that performs better than Honest Beauty’s mascara yet.

PYT Liquid Liner

Black as the night in color, the PYT Liquid Liner works great for a dramatic cat eye or for a more demure fine line. There is minimal smudging sometimes but nothing terrible.
