Agent Nateur Review 2024

Agent Nateur is a luxury clean beauty brand whose founder Jena Covello launched with a deodorant, a few hundred dollars and a dream. While the Agent Nateur deodorant remains an OG cult favorite, they’ve expanded to become a much bigger skincare line complete with a virally popular collagen powder, hair serum, Vitamin C powder, resurfacing mask and even an intimacy oil.

The founder is very much the face of the brand, and this has caused some controversy because she tends to share many of her personal and political viewpoints with her brand’s social media audience.

Though I admit a beauty brand whose founder tends to overshare, flaunt their wealth and has an obsession with Paris is off-putting, I only care about their output – formulas, innovation and product launches.

Agent Nateur remains on my radar because the founder has a strong commitment to launching innovative products and puts a lot of thought and effort into formulations. This also tends to make the products expensive.

From the Agent Nateur I liked the h o l i ( w a t e r ) pearl and rose hyaluronic essence and Vitamin C powder h o l i ( c ) the c duo calcium & vitamin c the most. I haven’t tried their newer products like the face cream and eye serum.

I probably have a review of the Agent Nateur deodorant from 6 years ago floating around somewhere in my archives. It’s a high quality, non-toxic deodorant with a great scent.

There are just SO many clean deodorants that have come onto the scene and offer affordability and efficacy. While loyal Agent Nateur fans will continue to support their favorite deodorant, there’s so many deodorant brands I enjoy nowadays (Salt & Stone, Corpus Naturals, Routine).

Agent Nateur isn’t a hair care brand, but the founder tends to launch products that she herself would want/need, and that includes a  strengthening hair growth serum.

This is a treatment oil and not a liquid, styling product or lightweight serum. It’s an oil blend that should sit in your hair for at least 8-12 hours before being washed out. Agent Nateur holi(locks) is meant to grow weak, brittle and thinning hair into dense, full locks after 12 weeks of use. I like that there are zero filler ingredients, zero synthetics, zero silicones and only functional ingredients and actives.

Holi locks contains a number of advanced actives:

1. Follicusan™ revitalizes and promoted thicker looking hair.

Patented, trademarked and science-backed, Follicusan™ is a milk-based bioactive, containing active signaling molecules, which clinical studies have proven to stimulate the appearance of dermal papilla cells on the scalp, thus supporting stronger feeling hair.

2. Redensyl™, has been called the ‘human hair galvanizer’ and targets the root causes of unhealthy hair.

3. Beracare ARS Hair Serum™ is a natural complex made up of naturally derived Passiflora Edulis Seed, Oryza Sativa Rice Bran and Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Oil, serving as a non-silicone solution to deliver softness and shine.

Other ingredients include:

  • Kalahari: packed with linoleic acid and vitamin E
  • EGCG Green Tea: antioxidant to prevent damage to the hair and scalp
  • Horsetail: Packed full of silicon – promoting the structural integrity of hair
  • Amla: Indian Gooseberry is thought to strengthen and condition hair from root to end
  • Hibiscus: effective hair remedy to thicker looking hair
