Fitglow Beauty creates organic and vegan makeup and skin care made with plant-based ingredients. As a luxury organic brand using high quality and cutting-edge ingredients, the prices are on the high end. But if you’re looking for luxury, performance and organic ingredients, Fitglow Beauty is a superb brand to try. Fitglow is a Canadian brand but is also based in Florida, where the founder now lives. It’s hard to find a clean beauty enthusiast who isn’t obsessed with the Fitglow Beauty Foundation and Fitglow Lip Colour Serums! Fitglow Vita Shield Plum Hyaluronic Primer SPF 30

I tested the Fitglow sunscreen and find this to be a true lightweight lotion. It feels hydrating but does leave a subtle white cast if you’re using a couple of pumps. In Fitglow fashion, this sunscreen is a skincare product on its own with organic aloe, astaxathin, Hyaluronic Acid, Plum, Birch, Cloudberry, Green Tea, Pomegranate and Carrot seed. There’s also 14% zinc oxide for SPF 30 broad spectrum protection. I would say this is ideal for oily skin types and may not be absorb as well in dry skin types.

Fitglow Beauty Foundation

The Fitglow Beauty foundation is truly skincare that acts as a foundation. It’s 98% Organic, 95% Whole Food Based and contains Vitamin C, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid,Seaweed Brighteners and Beta-Carotene to increase collagen production and boost skins ability to diminish spots, freckles, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage plus improve elasticity. The Fitglow Beauty Foundation makes your skin look like your skin, but more beautiful and airbrushed.

You should absolutely switch to a healthy foundation because it covers your entire face and sits there all day and maybe even through the night! Fitglow Foundation gives you a decent amount of coverage (not full!) and simultaneously improves your skin’s health.

Fitglow’s foundation is very light with a silky smooth consistency and provides light to medium coverage for me. It applies flawlessly and simply feels fantastic on the skin, neither heavy nor drying.

Fitglow Beauty Lip Serum

One of the best organic lip glosses on the market, Fitglow Beauty Lip Colour Serums are a luxury lip gloss that’s an anti-aging lip treatment and makeup product in one. Fitglow went above and beyond just creating an organic lip gloss with beautiful color and clean ingredients but one scientifically formulated to improve lip cell structure and plump. The Fitglow Beauty Lip Serums became such a hit that they now have dozens of shades available.

The Fitglow Lip Serums are silky with a medium consistency as they feel slightly thicker than your average lip gloss. Besides feeling hydrating and nourishing, the Fitglow Lip Colour Serums have a subtle plumping effect on my lips. It contains Lecithin and Yeast Extract as an Organic Plump, which is a combination of ingredients I haven’t seen or heard of in a lip gloss, but I can’t complain!

The Fitglow Beauty Lip Colour Serum is a luxury lip treatment and makeup product in one and the price reflects this. But if you love the glamorous packaging and organic ingredients, the Fitglow Lip Colour Serum won’t disappoint.

Fitglow Beauty Conceal +

The Fitglow Beauty Concealer known as Conceal+ is one of Fitglow’s best makeup products. This is SUCH a good concealer. Fitglow Conceal+ has a drier formula and goes on feeling like it’ll be very matte but actually provides a satin finish. The undereye area looks like it’s practically glowing with Conceal+ applied.

Fitglow Beauty Conceal+ provides heavy coverage, doesn’t crease and has good lasting power.  Its skin-nourishing blend of Phyto Elastin, Organic Green Tea, Vitamin K, and Licorice Root help improve the condition of skin rather than just covering it up.

Fitglow Beauty Conceal+ is, in my opinion, one of the best organic concealer products available on the market. The shade range is also inclusive with 18 shades to choose from.

Fitglow Beauty Lumi Firm Lip + Cheek

The Fitglow Beaugy Lumi Firm Lip + Cheek doubles as an anti-aging treatment and is formulated to lift and firm using natural plant peptides and plant collagen to fight signs of aging & strengthen skin structure. The versatile cream goes on semi-sheer and is buildable if you want more color intensity. I find just a couple swipes looks natural.

 

Its downside is the Fitglow Lumi Firm packaging isn’t my favorite. It comes in a small sphere and is difficult to use without a makeup brush. Fitglow Lumi Firm comes in 8 shades.

Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum

The Fitglow Beauty Night Lip Serum is one of Fitglow’s most popular products. This isn’t your average lip gloss — it’s actually an overnight lip treatment.

I think an accurate name for this product would be something like “Overnight Lip Serum Mask Anti-Aging Treatment.” You apply it before bed to allow its ingredients to get to work overnight. It features a Plant Ceramides formula that restores lip moisture barrier while protecting from water loss and Organic pomegranate Plant Sterols, Beet Extract, and Vegan Collagen to improve lip cell structure, increase lip volume and fight signs of aging.

The Pomegranate Sterols hold double its weight in water to increase hydration and lip fullness. Vegetable Micro Collagen helps with the structure and firmness of lips. Organic Rice Ceramids lock in moisture and Organic Beet extract, which is rich in phytocompounds and humectants, improve circulation, detoxification and plumpness.

This is a very highly priced product at $48, Is an anti-aging lip treatment a necessity? Definitely not. You can use any of your expensive serums, moisturizers, face oils or face balms to the same effect. But if you love the idea of a product specifically that’s designed for a very specific part of your face, the Fitglow Night Lip Serum is  a bestseller for a reason. Fitglow Beauty Vita Setting Powder

The Fitglow Beauty Vita Setting Powder is a multi-benefit powder to help give your foundation an even, airbrushed look. Like with every Fitglow product, the Vita Setting Powder is beneficial for skin with Ginkgo Leaf delivering over 50 antioxidants to protect skin and Plant Peptides to strengthen and firm.

The Fitglow Vita Setting Powder is a very fine and super soft powder that goes on so smoothly and evenly. If you love a matte finish, the Vita Setting powder is an excellent product.

Fitglow Beauty Cloud Ceramide Balm

The Fitglow Beauty Cloud Ceramide Balm is one of Fitglow’s most popular skincare products. That being said, I’m afraid I wasn’t particularly impressed by this Fitglow product.

The Fitglow Cloud Ceramide Balm is actually a cream moisturizer not a balm. It’s a perfectly fine moisturizer, has a creamy almost airy consistency, feels nourishing etc but I couldn’t get over the scent. There’s something about the scent that reminds me of Pantene Pro V shampoo, and I couldn’t get it out of my head every time I used the Cloud Ceramide Balm. If not for the scent, I feel like I would’ve liked this moisturizer more.

 

 

 

 

Fitglow Beauty Vita Active Serum

The Fitglow Beauty Vita Active Serum is an antioxidant-packed Vitamin C serum with 20% Vitamin C content.

The Fitglow Vita Active Serum:

• Improves skin clarity, reduces freckles, uneven skin, and sun damage
• Provides long-acting full spectrum antioxidant protection
• Reduces signs of premature aging
  Improves skin tone and smoothness

I used the Fitglow Vita Active Serum over one summer and it kept my skin smooth, clear, even-toned and radiant and also stopped further sun damage that usually occurs over a summer in the sun. I have also heard accounts of this product working to clear up more serious skin issues that others have had. It has a deep orange tint and a light gel-serum like texture that absorbs quickly. Serums are the product type you want to invest in most as these are the only product type in your regimen that has molecules small enough to penetrate deep into your pores.

Fitglow Beauty Makeup Cleansing Oil

I love the Fitglow Beauty Makeup Cleansing Oil! It’s specifically designed to remove makeup including mascara (comes right off!), a godsend for those of us who enjoy a full face of makeup.

The Fitglow Beauty Makeup Cleansing Oil features:

• Cloudberry seed oil & watermelon seed oil are the first ingredients
• Rinses off with water (no need for a face cloth) and does not emulsify
• Cherry blossom flower extract which repairs oxidation damage and reduces inflammation

I’m very VERY impressed with the Fitglow cleansing oil. I’ve tried many a cleansing oil and cleansing balm; some rinse off with water and most you must physically remove with a cloth. This is my first time using one that not only rinses off but also does not emulsify into a cream lather.

This Fitglow Beauty Makeup Cleansing Oil easily glides off the face with water along with all the makeup and grime it picked up. My mascara (2 coats) washed off effortlessly as well and I did not have residue that I needed to clean up.

I also love the scent. The Fitglow Makeup Cleansing Oil smells like watermelon candy, just incredibly sweet and fragrant.

Fitglow Beauty Vita Rich Bakuchiol Creme

Again, if budget is not a concern when it comes to buying a moisturizer the Fitglow Beauty Vita Rich Creme is superb in terms of ingredients, texture and efficacy. Rich in over 150 phytonutrients, vitamins, and cherry brightening comple, Rare Grass Extracts increase intercellular osmosis, retaining water long term deeply in the skin and plumping cells. You’ll find that many of Fitglow’s products including their makeup are about “plumping” the cells which I absolutely love because I feel that all other skin issues aside, plump skin is the key to looking youthful.

The Fitglow Beauty Vita Rich Creme is a very rich moisturizer with a smooth silky texture and fruity scent similar to their Vita Youth Oil. It will leave your skin feeling SUPER moisturized and soft. I personally prefer this moisturizer over the Cloud Ceramide Balm.

Fitglow Beauty Vita Youth Retinoic Oil

The Fitglow Beauty Vita Youth Retinoic Oil is a safer natural alternative to traditional retinol products and requires just a few drops a night.  Active oils are combined with plant stem cells and retinol to leave skin plump and glowing.  I would say the Fitglow Vita Youth Oil is a light to medium oil that smells fruity and takes a while to absorb. Since I only used it at night this was fine for me.

The Fitglow Vita Youth Retinoic Oil begins in a base of Rosehip oil and enhanced with extracts of Plum, Orchid, Cucumber and Retinol. It smells like a sweet, floral garden thanks to the orchid oil.
