“It became clear during my work within a biological testing lab (non-animal) that products on the market were fraught with issues. The Most All-Purpose Natural Sunscreen

Thinksport sunscreens are the most versatile sunscreens I’ve come across. It’s hard to find a sunscreen that works well for outdoors and sports activity days that can also work well as a face sunscreen. The Thinksport sunscreens are the ideal safe sunscreen for athletes who sweat a lot because they’re water resistant, but they also work for the face and under makeup. Usually you need to purchase a face sunscreen separately from your sports sunscreen, but Thinksport works for both occasions.

The trick is in the consistency. They didn’t make the Thinksport sunscreen so rich it couldn’t be used for the face. But it’s still thick enough to stay put through sweat-filled activities. While there are more lightweight lotion type sunscreens that work for both face and body, some people prefer a balm consistency because it absorbs and applies quicker and easier for them. If you prefer a light lotion I recommend Babo Botanicals or Pipette which is also great for the whole family.

The Thinksport sunscreens are also a fantastic face sunscreen and the water resistance is a great bonus if you’re sweating while outdoors. I find that I don’t need to use a moisturizer because the Thinksport sunscreen is rich enough to replace them.

Men like the Thinksport sunscreens for the minimal and sporty look. So if you’re having trouble getting your husband to apply sunscreen daily, have them try Thinksport.

Scent

All Thinksport and Thinkbaby sunscreens have a tropical pina colada smell.

Is There a White Cast

There is a hint of white cast as it’s a 100% mineral zinc oxide formula.

Consistency

Thinksport and Thinkbaby sunscreens feel like a creamy balm and are on the emollient side. It does not feel like a lightweight lotion and is not a milky fluid. Thinksport sunscreens feel much more like a balm.

Thinkbaby Sunscreen

All Thinksport and Thinkbaby sunscreens have the same exact base formula. I’ve used Thinksport, Thinksport for kids and Thinkbaby interchangeably and all three are almost identical. The scent is a little less strong with the Thinkbaby sunscreens.

Thinksport Everyday Face SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen

If you’re looking to avoid the white cast or want a tinted face sunscreen, Thinksport offers 1 tinted face sunscreen. Just like all Thinksport products, Thinksport Everyday Face SPF 30 has mineral base formula that doesn’t contain any PABA, parabens, phthalates, oxybenzone, avobenzone dioxane or animal products.

The Thinksport Everyday Face SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen is perfectly smooth and hydrating and the tint is very natural and works well for my olive toned skin. The company says that it contains just a small amount of tint to eliminate the white cast problem, but it actually gives me a decent amount of coverage. The Thinksport Everyday Face SPF 30 also acts as a great primer before applying makeup. It has the signature pina colada scent of the other sunscreen products from the brand. Besides 20% Zinc Oxide, the formula also contains Vitamins C and E, raspberry seed oil, cranberry seed oil, hyaluronic acid and other skin beneficial ingredients.
